The Program
Day 1. March 18: The Road to the Highlands
We depart from Tbilisi early to enjoy a relaxed pace. Our first stop is at a female winemaker’s house for a late breakfast and tasting in a warm, authentic atmosphere. As we wind through the mountains toward Mestia, we’ll make stops for coffee and photography. In the evening, we visit a local village home. Together with the hostess, you’ll learn the secrets of Svan cooking before enjoying a traditional family dinner.

Day 2. March 19: Mestia, Swings, and Mountain Spa
Start your morning with breakfast and views of the ancient stone towers. You’ll have time to explore the Mikhail Khergiani House-Museum or the world-class National Museum to dive into Svaneti’s fierce history. In the afternoon, we head to Heshkili. Swinging out over the valley with a panoramic view of the Caucasus is a moment of pure freedom. We end the day with a wood-fired sauna and outdoor hot tub—two hours of warmth and peace amidst the mountain snow.

Day 3. March 20: Svaneti in Your Own Rhythm
After breakfast, the day is yours to customize.

Day 4. March 21: The Journey Back
Breakfast and a scenic drive back toward Tbilisi. We’ll stop at the massive Enguri Dam, with an optional visit to the hydro-power station (the largest in the Caucasus). After a traditional lunch on the road, we return to the city by evening, carrying the peace of the mountains with us.
