Tour to Tusheti
Day 1. 30.08.2024
Early departure from Tbilisi.
On this day, we will travel through the Kakheti region to the road that begins the ascent to the Abano Pass. The height of the pass is 2900 meters, and we will reach its summit by noon, where we will take a break.
The road is quite challenging, so we will travel in a high-clearance vehicle with the most experienced driver. But the views that will open up to us are incomparable!
We will then continue our journey to the village of Omalo, where we will stay in a comfortable house with a mountain view.
You can take a walk to the local fortress, enjoy the sunset that first paints the mountains in blue and then leaves only their silhouettes.
In the evening, there will be dinner and pleasant conversation under the stars.
Day 2. 31.08.2024
Don't be lazy and wake up early! At dawn, you will witness the most incredible mist on the mountains and the most mysterious view.

Today, we will explore the region and its stunning places.
We will go to an observation deck located above a gorge, on a rocky cliff. From this spot, if we are lucky, we might see mountain goats proudly standing on the edge of the cliffs.
From here, we will head to the highest inhabited settlement in Europe, Bochorna, which is inhabited year-round. We will enjoy a walk here.
Along the way, we will see many waterfalls and mountain streams, making stops for photos and rest, of course.
Next, we will head to the village of Kvavlo to walk along a narrow path and climb to the ancient towers. In the neighboring village of Dartlo, we will have lunch with delicious local khinkali and beer. The restaurant is located right by the mountain river.
We return to Omalo.
