Legend has it that in the 5th century, King Vakhtang Gorgasali went hunting and discovered springs with hot water, on which he decided to build a city. “Tbili” in Georgian means warm.
You will feel the spirit and power of the Old City. To think about it, Tbilisi was burned to the ground at least five times, and it rose, rebuilt and developed!
